Dr. Angus Johnston

Angus is an NHMRC Research Fellow and head of the Nanomaterials for Biology group at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. His research focuses on developing targeted drug delivery systems and understanding the trafficking of proteins, nucleic acids and nanoparticles in cells. He received his PhD in 2006 from the University of Queensland. He has published more than 100 papers and has an H-factor of 50. Angus has received a number of awards for his research, including the Grimwade Prize for Industrial Chemistry, Young Tall Poppy Award and finalist for the Eureka Prize for Outstanding Young Researcher.
