Dr. Luciana Lopes

Luciana B. Lopes received her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Sao Paulo School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Ribeirão Preto, which included a research-training period at Arizona State University (Phoenix, AZ, USA). Following a post-doctoral training at ASU, she served as Assistant Professor at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (Albany, NY, USA). Currently, she is Associate Professor at the University of Sao Paulo Institute of Biomedical Sciences. Her scientific interests include the design and biological evaluation of multifunctional nanocarriers for cutaneous and mammary tissue localization for treatment/prevention of inflammatory diseases, tumors and wound healing.
