Dr. Nitin Joshi

 Nitin Joshi, Ph.D., co-founded CAGE Bio in 2018 and currently serves as a board member and CEO of the company.   Previously he served as Vice President, Global Product Development at The Medicines Company where he led development of IONSYS through regulatory approval.  IONSYS is a transdermal iontophoretic patient-controlled fentanyl delivery system initially developed by ALZA Corporation.  Dr. Joshi has spent over 20 years in development, scale-up and regulatory approval of various drug delivery products covering pulmonary, oral, parenteral, and transdermal routes.  He received a B.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from UDCT, Mumbai and Clemson University respectively.
